TREADMILL DECKS – WHAT MAKES OUR DECKS SUPERIOR?

While MDF is commonly used within the fitness industry, our High Density Treadmill Decks take things a step further … by offering enhanced Performance and Durability as well as Reliability for those who want value for money as well as those who value their joints!

Our line of Superior Double Laminate Treadmill Decks are a Superior Quality High Density Fibre board (HDF) Most original manufacture Decks can be Low Density or Medium Density and can break prematurely but they are fitted for a reason…

Almost All Treadmill manufactures choose to use MDF or Phenolic Decks on their Treadmills for a reason, as they ensure the best density to absorb impact with the least amount of rebound. This ensures the least amount of damage or injury to the users delicate hip, knee and ankle joints over time…

However, when a Deck cracks, splits or breaks or prematurely wears, many people will look for alternative boards. There are of course cheaper inferior options like Plywood and other Timber products with many coated in a poor quality surface finish but if you value your knee and hip joints, timber products are best left at the builders merchants.

Our Laminated Treadmill Decks are manufactured out of High Density Boards (HDF). The core trait of HDF is its weight and density, which makes it much harder and more durable than standard MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard). In addition the Laminate we use provides the Lowest Friction possible due to a High Mirror Finish not offered by any competitor. We fit Laminate to both top and underside surfaces so when one side eventually wears the Deck can be simply “flipped”.

Where MDF typically weighs around 650 kg/m3 our HDF Decks are as much as 850-1000 kg/m3 (approx 50 to 65 lb/cu ft). Optimum Strength is achieved by a Quality Deck manufacturing process which produces a Stronger, Heavier and more Dense Treadmill Deck
